Chief Minister (CM) Punjab, Sardar Usman Buzdar gave the approval of projects pertaining to the development of new Hospitals in the various districts of Punjab.
The Punjab government will build a new District Headquarter Hospital in Hafizababd worth Rs8bn. Similarly, the provincial government has allocated Rs25cr for revamping the Tehsil Headquarter Hospital (THQ) in district Khushab. Also, the cabinet meeting also gave a nod to converting various colleges, universities, and hospitals to solar energy in order to save electricity.
The meeting was apprised that the conversion of various institutions on solar energy will conserve 45pc of the electricity.
